JSW Energy scores 400 MW deal with Karnataka's PCKL

JSW Energy's subsidiary JSW Energy (Utkal) Ltd received a Letter of Award from PCKL for a 400 MW power supply arrangement. The 25-year deal will be sourced from Coal India under the SHAKTI Scheme, subject to regulatory adoption and a subsequent Power Purchase Agreement. This signing would bring 57% of JSW Energy's total capacity tied up.
