Nuvoco Vistas to issue Rs 12,000 crore convertible debentures

Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd's subsidiary Vadraj Cement Ltd will issue up to Rs 12,000 crore compulsorily convertible debentures (CCDs) in two tranches of Rs 6,000 crore each. The company's share price rose 2.1% to Rs 421.75. Nuvoco is India's fifth-largest cement producer with a 31 million-tonne capacity and a market capitalisation of Rs 14,940 crore.
