Adani Power shares surge 4% on Godda plant grid connection approval

Adani Power Limited shares surged 4.4% to Rs 164.38 on the NSE after the Centre granted approval to lay an overhead transmission line connecting its Godda Ultra Super Critical Thermal Power Plant to the Indian grid. The company also formed a joint venture for a 570 MW hydroelectric project in Bhutan.
