FIIs net buy Rs 309 crore, DIIs buy Rs 1527 crore

FII's provisional data shows Rs 309 crore net bought in Indian equities on Friday, while domestic institutional investors bought Rs 1527 crore worth of shares. This follows a year-long trend where FIIs have been net sellers of Rs 2.40 lakh crore, while DIIs bought Rs 6.02 lakh crore. The Sensex gained 484.53 points to settle at 83,952.19 and Nifty rose 124.55 points to close at 25,709.85.
