UCO Bank reports 2.82% YoY net profit rise, improved asset quality

UCO Bank reported a 2.82% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹620 crore in Q2 FY26. Net interest income rose by 10.08% to ₹2,533 crore. Gross non-performing assets ratio reduced to 2.56% from 3.18% a year earlier. Total business grew by 13.23% to ₹5,36,398 crore. Retail and agriculture advances showed significant year-on-year growth at 25.40% and 17.28% respectively.
