UltraTech Cement's Q2 profit rises 75% on stronger volumes and margins

UltraTech Cement reported a 75.2% year-on-year rise to ₹1,232 crore in net profit for the September quarter, driven by higher sales volumes and robust margin expansion. Revenue increased 20.3% to ₹19,607 crore and EBITDA grew 52.7% to ₹3,094.4 crore, translating into a 15.8% margin from 12.4% last year.
