UltraTech aims for 25 MTPA capacity increase

UltraTech Cement plans to expand production by 25 million tonnes per annum, boosting its capacity to 240-245 million tonnes by FY2029, with potential for an additional 20-25 million tonnes beyond that. The company is also increasing renewable energy to 65% of its energy by the end of the current growth phase. UltraTech sold over 31 million tonnes of cement in the quarter.
