Market value of top 7 firms surges Rs 2.16 lakh crore

The market valuation of seven top-10 Indian firms surged by Rs 2,16,544.29 crore last week. Reliance Industries increased by Rs 47,363.65 crore, Bharti Airtel by Rs 41,254.73 crore. ICICI Bank's mcap rose by Rs 40,123.88 crore, HDFC Bank by Rs 33,185.59 crore, and Bajaj Finance by Rs 28,903.45 crore. The BSE benchmark jumped 1,451.37 points or 1.75 per cent last week.
