Indian stock markets closed today for Diwali 2025 celebrations

The Indian stock market closed for normal trading on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, on account of Diwali 2025. However, a one-hour Muhurat trading session will take place from 1.45 pm to 2.45 pm. The stock exchanges will remain closed on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, for Diwali Balipratipada, making it two stock market holidays in October.
