Market gains extend into 2025's first Muhurat Trading session

Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended Muhurat Trading session 2025 on a slightly positive note, with Sensex settling 63 points higher at 84,426 and Nifty closing 25 points higher at 25,838.80. Infosys was a top Nifty gainer after US clarified exemptions to H-1B visa fee exemptions. Nifty Midcap and SmallCap indices rose 0.1% and 0.5% respectively.
