PNB sells 10% stake in Canara HSBC Life, raises ₹1,000 crore

Punjab National Bank (PNB) sold 9.5 crore shares in Canara HSBC Life Insurance, raising ₹1,007 crore. PNB divested 10% of its stake, reducing its shareholding from 23% to 13%. The shares were sold at ₹106 each through an Offer for Sale (OFS) on October 17, 2025, coinciding with the insurer's market debut.
