BSE gains ground as NSE's volumes stay strong despite expiry day

BSE's market share in equity options rose to 26.7% in October after a shift in weekly index options expiry days from NSE, defying expectations of a market share loss for the exchange. NSE's share fell to 73.3% in October after a 3.3% decrease from August's 76.6% market share. BSE's market share has increased steadily from near zero in May.
