Bank Nifty sees profit booking, declines below 58,000

The Bank Nifty index dropped below the 58,000-mark, falling by 0.6 percent to 57,735 on October 23 after hitting an all-time high of 58,577.50. Key losers included Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, and AU Small Finance Bank Limited, while Canara Bank Limited, Federal Bank, and ICICI Bank rose by up to 1%.
