SBI Life sees 6% net profit drop, 23% premium income surge

SBI Life Insurance Company reported a net profit of ₹495 crore for the quarter ended September 30, down 6.6% from ₹529 crore in the same quarter last year. Net premium income rose 22.6% year-on-year to ₹24,848 crore from ₹20,266 crore, with total APE at ₹5,950 crore, VNB at ₹1,660 crore, and a VNB margin of 27.9%.
