SBI to hire 18,000 staff nationwide

The State Bank of India (SBI) plans to fill 18,000 jobs including officers, clerks, and junior associates to boost operations and enhance services. The bank recruited 505 Probationary Officers in June and aims to hire up to 3,500 officers this fiscal, with a 30% women workforce target in five years. SBI currently employs over 2.4 lakh workers.
