Honda invests in Mitsui-backed power company OMC

Japanese auto major Honda Motor Co Ltd has invested an undisclosed amount in Gurugram-headquartered distributed energy company OMC Power, acquiring a minority stake. OMC Power will launch a leasing business for uninterruptible power supply devices using Honda's Mobile Power Pack e: battery, expanding its portfolio tenfold to 1 GW.
