Tata Chemicals wins ₹783 crore Kenya land revenue case

Tata Chemicals Magadi Ltd won a court dispute with the County Government of Kajiado, Kenya, declaring a ₹783 crore land revenue demand as arbitrary and illegal. The Court of Appeal, Nairobi, ruled in favour of TCML on October 24, 2025. The company will decide on accounting treatment after taking legal advice. Net profit jumped 68% to ₹252 crore in Q1 FY25.
