Adani Energy shares fall on Q2FY26 profit drop

Adani Energy Solutions reported a 21% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 534 crore in Q2FY26, despite a 7% revenue increase to Rs 6,596 crore. Revenue from transmission and distribution business increased, however, expenses rose. Capital expenditure rose by 1.36 times to Rs 5,976 crore, as the company commissioned three transmission projects.
