Markets open higher with the Sensex rising 90 points and Nifty near 26,000

The Indian equity indices, Nifty 50 and Sensex, opened higher with Nifty 50 rising 37 points (0.14%) to 25,973 and Sensex rising 90 points (0.11%) to 84,718. Small and midcap stocks performed flatly. Key resistance areas are 26,000 and 26,050, while 25,800 is a crucial support zone. Early gainers were Grasim Industries, Titan, and HDFC Life Insurance, while laggards included Mahindra & Mahindra.
