Newgen Software shares surge 16% after profit jumps 16% YoY

Newgen Software Technologies shares surged 16% in two trading sessions to Rs 896.35 on the BSE after posting a 16% year-on-year profit rise to Rs 82 crore in Q2 FY26. The company reported 11% consolidated revenue growth to Rs 401 crore and upgraded ratings from ICICI Securities to 'Hold' with a target price of Rs 1,010.
