Dr Reddy’s fears "huge monetary loss" over ORS regulations

Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd filed a petition in the Delhi High Court challenging the FSSAI's directive restricting use of the label "ORS" for its Rebalanz VITORS oral rehydration solution. The company claims the directive will result in a huge monetary loss due to unsold inventory and existing packaging materials worth Rs 1.39 crore. The matter will be heard on Friday.
