Blueleaf secures $75M from British Investment

British International Investment committed a $75 million financing facility to Blueleaf Energy, a Macquarie-owned company, to expand renewable energy capacity in India. The agreement will support 2GW of installed clean energy capacity, avoid 3.1 million tonnes of CO2 emissions, and help India achieve its 500GW non-fossil fuel capacity target by 2030.
