SAIL misses Q2 profit targets with 53% YoY drop to ₹418 crore

SAIL reports a 53% decline in September quarter net profit to ₹418.72 crore from ₹897.15 crore in the same period last year. Despite this, SAIL's total income rose to ₹26,910.04 crore, up from ₹24,842.18 crore. The company's net profit for the first half of FY26 stood at ₹1,163 crore, higher than ₹978.93 crore in the previous year, with debt declining to ₹26,427 crore.
