LIC Housing Finance reports 2% Q2 profit jump, NPAs decline

LIC Housing Finance reported a 2% rise in September quarter net profit to ₹1,354 crore, from ₹1,329 crore the previous year. Total income increased to ₹7,170 crore, with interest income rising to ₹7,034 crore. Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) declined to 2.51% from 3.05% a year ago, and net NPA to 1.19% from 1.57%.
