NTPC Green Energy posts 135% net profit jump to 86.38 crore

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) posted a 135% year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit to ₹86.38 crore in the September quarter. Total income rose to ₹656.72 crore from ₹525.32 crore last year. The company also added a 38-MW solar plant to its operations and will commence commercial operations of a 9.9 MW wind project in Gujarat from October 25.
