Canara Bank reports improved asset quality, stable net income in Q2

Q2 Results: Canara Bank's asset quality improved in the September quarter. Gross NPA decreased to ₹27,040 crore, while net NPA fell to ₹6,113.2 crore. Net profit rose 19% to ₹4,774 crore. Net Interest Income (NII) fell 2% to ₹9,141 crore. The stock jumped 3% to ₹132.07, trading 33% higher this year.
