Cipla shares plunge over MD & CEO's decision not to renew contract

Cipla MD & CEO Umang Vohra will not seek reappointment after a decade-long stint. Achin Gupta, the company's Global COO, will become the new MD & CEO on April 1, 2026, pending shareholder approval.
