Porinju Veliyath's Equity Intelligence acquires Associated Alcohols stake

Equity Intelligence India acquired a 0.52% stake in Associated Alcohols & Breweries via open market transaction on October 30. The stake worth Rs 11.6 crore was acquired at Rs 1,160.6 per share. Simultaneously, Associated Alcohols' shares surged 17.5% to Rs 1,228.5. BofA Securities Europe SA also bought shares in CPCL worth Rs 66.2 crore and Emergent Industrial Solutions had a block deal.
