NTPC aims to expand capacity by 10.5 GW by FY28

NTPC confirms clear visibility on meeting 11.8 GW capacity addition targets by FY2026. The company aims to add 9,844 MW in FY26, 9,600 MW in FY27, and 10,564 MW in FY28, with 4.5 GW conventional and 11.2 GW renewable capacity by the target year. The net profit stands at Rs 4,653 crore, a 0.11% increase from the same period last year.
