Record auto sales driven by GST cut and festive rush

Mahindra & Mahindra reported a 26% year-on-year growth in total auto sales at 1,20,142 units in October 2025, with passenger vehicles increasing 31% to 71,624 units. Toyota Kirloskar Motor sales rose 39% to 42,892 units, while Skoda Auto India reached its highest-ever monthly sales at 8,252 units. A GST rate cut and festive season boosted sales across the Indian automotive industry.
