Tata Capital gets $16 mn from GCF to support climate startups

Tata Capital Limited partnered with the Green Climate Fund (GCF) to support early-stage climate-tech start-ups in India. The GCF will provide a $15.85 million loan and $3 million grant, while Tata Capital will contribute $47.6 million. The Beacon India Programme aims to incubate 100 climate tech ventures and help 50 reach full-scale development, with 10-15 receiving seed funding.
