Heg reports 73% net profit jump to ₹143 crore in Q2 on 23% revenue growth

Graphite electrode maker Hindustan Electro Graphites Ltd (HEG) reported a 72.7% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹143 crore for Q1 FY26. Revenue rose 23.2% to ₹699.2 crore, while EBITDA increased 23% to ₹118.4 crore. The board approved proposed subscriptions to TACC Ltd's OCDs and a sale of a 26% stake in Texnere India Private Limited.
