Private-equity backed firm acquires healthcare marketing firm

Indegene Ltd acquired Cake Kommunikations Holding GmbH (Cake Group) for up to 8.5 million euros to bolster its presence in Europe. The deal involves full acquisition of Cake Group's European subsidiaries and is subject to regulatory clearance. Indegene had previously acquired BioPharm in October and plans to complete the Cake Group deal in January 2026.
