Sensex drops 450 points, Nifty below 25,900 due to profit booking

The Sensex declined 300 points, falling from 84,919.43 to 84,439.85, and Nifty traded below 25,950, down from a high of 26,010.70. Profit booking was seen after 2 pm, wiping out gains due to caution ahead of the Bihar election results. Top gainers included Asian Paints and Hindalco Industries, while ETERNAL, Tata Motors, and Mahindra & Mahindra declined.
