Odisha approves ₹4,500 cr solar and battery plant by CESC arm

CESC Limited's subsidiary, CESC Green Power Limited, receives an in-principle approval to set up a Rs. 4,500 crore renewable manufacturing facility in Odisha's Dhenkanal district. CESC Ltd reports Q2 results with a 20.4% Y-O-Y rise in net profit to Rs. 425 crore and a 12% revenue growth to Rs. 5,267 crore.
