Adani Power shares gain on Assam deal

Adani Power received a Letter of Award for a 3200 MW thermal power plant in Assam under the DBFOO model, to be completed by 2032. The deal is expected to boost the company's market share to 15% by FY32, driven by growing evening peak demand. Morgan Stanley raised its target price to Rs 185 per share, citing strong growth catalysts and improved earnings visibility.
