M&M partners with Manulife for life insurance venture

Mahindra & Mahindra partners with Canada-based Manulife in a 50:50 joint venture to enter the life insurance business, committing up to ₹3,600 crore each. The venture, expected to begin operations in 15-18 months, will initially invest ₹1,250 crore over five years and aims to achieve break-even by the tenth year.
