Infibeam Avenues gets RBI approval for offline payment aggregation

Infibeam Avenues received RBI authorisation to operate as an offline payment aggregator. It can now offer unified digital and offline payment solutions to merchants through Point of Sale (POS) devices. The company already holds four payment licences, marking a fourth RBI approval for its payments business. RBI data shows a 24.7% growth in POS installations to 11 million devices.
