FPIs welcome Indian debt inclusion in Bloomberg's Global Aggregate Index

Foreign portfolio investors provided positive feedback on Bloomberg's Aggregate Index services, increasing chances of India's debt inclusion in the $3 trillion Global Aggregate index. Market participants cited ease of trading, India's sovereign rating, and overall returns on government bonds, in the consultation process that started in September and may continue until December.
