Indian pharma firm gets USFDA approval for anti-diarrheal tablet

Marksans Pharma's wholly-owned US subsidiary received final approval from the US FDA for an anti-diarrheal medication, Loperamide Hydrochloride Tablets USP, 2 mg. It is a generic version of Imodium A-D Tablets and is used to control symptoms of acute and chronic diarrhea. This is the company's second approval in two days.
