Paytm regains UPI market share, October transaction volume sets new record

Paytm processed over 1.52 billion UPI transactions in October 2025, its highest-ever number, surpassing its previous best of 1.45 billion transactions. The company's UPI transaction value stood at Rs 1.671 lakh crore, still below 2023 and early 2024 levels. Paytm's revenue fell to Rs 2,061 crore in the September quarter but the company reported a net profit of Rs 211 crore.
