Hindalco shares drop 3% after second Novelis fire in two months

Shares of Aditya Birla Group company Hindalco Industries Limited slipped as much as 3% to their day’s low of Rs 776 on the BSE in morning deals on Friday, November 21. The plant's hot mill is expected to restart by December 2025, and Hindalco reported a 21% YoY growth in Q2 net profit at Rs 4,741 crore.
