Asian Stocks Plummet Amid AI Fears

Emerging-Asian equities tumbled, on course for their worst week since April, due to concerns over AI sector valuations and uncertainty over a potential Federal Reserve rate cut. MSCI index of emerging-market stocks slipped 2%, led by South Korea's tech-heavy Kospi index which fell 4.2%, with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix posting declines. US job growth in September was stronger than expected.
