Axis Bank issues ₹5,000 crore in long-term NCDs

Axis Bank to raise up to ₹5,000 crore through Series-9 non-convertible debentures on private placement basis, with a base size of ₹2,000 crore and an optional ₹3,000 crore green shoe option. This is part of the bank's ₹35,000 crore autorised debt securities plan, approved by its Board and shareholders. The debentures will be senior, rated, and redeemable long-term instruments.
