Sebi to overhaul brokerage, MF rules at December meeting

Sebi plans a comprehensive review of its mutual fund rules, including unbundling of broking fees, and regulatory updates for stock brokers. The regulator has released consultation papers on the mutual fund overhaul and stock broker regulation revamp, which proposes definitions and limits for total expense ratio and algorithmic trading.
