Indian conglomerate Samvardhana Motherson fined by German tax authority

Motherson Sequencing and Assembly Services Global Group GmbH has been penalized €56,319 for delayed VAT and payroll taxes payment in September 2025. The penalty will have no material impact on Samvardhana Motherson's financials. The company reported a Q2 net profit of ₹827 crore, beating expectations, with revenue at ₹30,173 crore, up 8.5%.
