Cupid CMD buys Rs 71 crore Quant MF-backed lending stake

Indian investor Aditya Kumar Halwasia bought 38 lakh shares in The Karnataka Bank via a bulk deal at Rs 71 crore, a 5.6% premium. The shares jumped 8% to Rs 188.50, backed by Quant Mutual Fund. Karnataka Bank posted a 9.1% net profit growth to Rs 319.12 crore in Q2FY26, with a 4.17% decline in net interest income to Rs 728.12 crore and 3.33% Gross NPA ratio.
