TotalEnergies mulls stake sale in Adani Green Energy

TotalEnergies weighs sale of up to 6% in Adani Green Energy (AGEL) for around Rs 10,200 crore ($1.14 billion), valuing its current 19% stake at $8 billion. The move follows Chief Executive Patrick Pouyanné's intent to pare exposure and prune its Asian renewables portfolio. TotalEnergies acquired the 20% stake in AGEL in 2021 for $2.5 billion.
