Karnataka Bank gains on second day as Cupid promoter buys stake

Aditya Kumar Halwasiya, Chairman of Cupid Ltd., bought 38 lakh Karnataka Bank shares, causing the stock to rise 8% on Friday and a further 6% on Monday, extending their gains. Mutual funds, HDFC Life Insurance and LIC also hold significant stakes in the lender. The stock trades at ₹196.21, up 4% on Monday.
