IndiGo stock nears record high ahead of Sensex inclusion

IndiGo's share price rose 1.93% to ₹5,953.00, hitting a record high of ₹6,225.05 on August 18, 2025. The BSE announced IndiGo will join Sensex, replacing Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, from December 22. The airline's market capitalisation exceeds ₹2.26 lakh crore after a capital investment of ₹7,294 crore in a subsidiary.
